NBC’s Parks and Recreation returns to the air Thursday night, and this week’s episode will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and Hulu Friday morning. To ensure that you’re properly psyched, NBC released a series gag reel on YouTube today.
You can watch the reel here; clocking in at two minutes and 28 seconds, it begins with a Ron Swanson moment gone wrong and stays just as goofy throughout. It’s also pretty heavy on priceless Rob Lowe moments.
And speaking of Rob Lowe, his old The West Wing cast member Bradley Whitford will appear in this week’s episode — though they won’t have a scene together. Whitford will play a city councilman determined to cut the city’s budget as Leslie’s election looms. The episode will be called “Live Fire” — also a The West Wing reference.
The show has been on hiatus for weeks; the most recent episode (“Lucky”) hit the web way back on March 9. The show is also on Netflix, but Netflix doesn’t stream the current season.
