More than 1,000 comic books, graphic novels, or full-color children’s books are now readable on the Kindle app for iPad and Android, as well as Kindle Cloud Reader.
The iPhone and Android smartphones are also supported. To use the feature, you’ll have to update the Kindle app on your device to the latest version.
This obviously isn’t the only place you can get children’s books or comic books on your tablet; ComiXology is essentially the iTunes of comic books and graphic novels, with huge libraries available for purchase and download on iOS and Android, for example. But if you’re living in the Amazon content ecosystem, this is good news.
You can visit Amazon’s Children’s Books and Comic Books & Graphic Novels archive pages to see what titles are available. The best-seller The Hiccupotomas is among the children’s books, and the comics include various Batman series, Y the Last Man, V for Vendetta, and Watchmen, among other classics.
