Passion Pit just released the music video for “Take a Walk,” the first single off its forthcoming LP Gossamer. You can watch the Vevo/YouTube video embedded below and pick up the track for any number of digital storefronts or streaming services.
As we said when the single for “Take a Walk” first hit the street, the band seems to be moving into a less impressionistic, more straight-up indie arena rock direction (a contradiction in terms, we know).
Watch the video and you’ll find yourself in the shoes of a camera pretending to be a ball used in a game of fetch with a dog. The ball bounces out of the suburbs, into the sky, and through all sorts of settings as it makes its way into the city. It’s clever, and you might find yourself wondering how they did it.
