Portal creator’s Quantum Conundrum debuts on Xbox Live and PSN

Portal creator Kim Swift’s Quantum Conundrum is now available for download on the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network (PSN), just a couple weeks after it became available to PC gamers through the Steam digital distribution service.

Swift started her own game development company to make Quantum Conundrum, a first-person game that tasks you with manipulating space and time to solve 3D environmental puzzles — all with a stab at humorous voice-over narration, just like Portal.

You can read our Quantum Conundrum preview from E3 last month, but the gist of it is that you are given command of four alternate dimensions in addition to normal time and space: Fuzzy (where everything is light), Heavy (where everything is, well, heavy), Slow Time, and Reverse Gravity.

Just like the PC version, the Xbox Live and PSN releases of the game are priced at $15. Check out the launch trailer below if you still want to know more.

I’m so excited to play this! Looks like what Pixar would come up with if they designed games.
