The heavily anticipated release of The Dark Knight Rises is imminent, and websites and PR pros are helping build up the frenzy by releasing a trickle of media like trailers or photos each week — but this latest release is more of a waterfall than a trickle. Streaming below is the entire soundtrack for The Dark Knight Rises, which was officially released to the web through Empire magazine this morning.
As with the previous two installations in Christopher Nolan’s Batman reboot trilogy starring Christopher Bale, the soundtrack is composed by Hans Zimmer — the same German composer who provided the iconic music for Inception and The Dark Knight.
