We don’t know if you’ve heard this yet, but apparently a global bacon shortage is imminent. While realistically no one’s expecting expecting bacon to disappear from the face of the planet, it was enough to inspire Parks and Recreation‘s reluctant city government bureaucrat Ron Swanson to record a PSA about the coming savory apocalypse.
The YouTube video is just a minute long, but that gives Swanson plenty of time to reveal all his bacon hiding places. Some are obvious, some are surprising.
Parks and Recreation‘s success can partly be owed to the team’s proficiency in creating viral videos to promote the show, and many of those star Ron Swanson. We were particularly amused by the gag reel that was released around the mid-season of Parks and Recreation earlier this year.
